On April 5, the CETMAR Foundation will hold an one-day workshop to display a demonstration of the iObserver system, a technology that allows automatic identification and quantification of the total biomass caught without interfering with the daily activities of fishermen.
The iObserver system, developed within the Life iSEAS project as an innovative solution for the management of discards, will improve the quality and availability of data and knowledge about the state of fisheries resources.
Attendance at the day is free, upon registration.
